Nemo is a Grasshopper plugin for Rhino 3D, developed for naval architecture and marine design. It allows users to model hulls, generate lines plans, and export section data suitable for classification societies. This streamlines early-stage design and ensures documentation is accurate and efficient.

The plugin includes tools for hydrostatic analysis, enabling calculation of buoyancy, waterplane areas, and hydrostatic coefficients. Advanced features like bulb and transom analysis are also included, with data export options for integration into other marine software like Maat Hydro.

Resistance prediction is handled using ITTC friction models and the Holtrop method, helping users estimate vessel efficiency. Results can be exported to tools such as NavCad and Numeca for further analysis, supporting performance-focused design workflows.

Structural tools in Nemo let users generate and label components like bulkheads and frames, with automatic extrusion and CSV export. This aids in planning, detailing, and preparing for production. Drawings and 2D outputs can also be generated automatically for reports or presentations.

A free set of shape generators is included for hydrofoils, keels, rudders, sails, and propeller blades, making Nemo useful even without a paid licence. Licences are perpetual and tied to either a computer or USB dongle, with paid versions unlocking additional tools for hydrostatics, resistance, and structure.
