Cadwax Software (UK) ("Cadwax", "we", "us") operates cadwax.co.uk, a UK supplier of professional 3D design software licences — including Rhino 3D and AEC-sector plugins — together with related training and support services (the "Services"). Cadwax Software (UK) is powered by Shopify, which provides the underlying e-commerce platform. These Terms of Service, together with our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order or using the website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our products

All products sold on cadwax.co.uk are digital items: perpetual software licence keys and associated downloads, plus optional training and support services. We do not ship physical goods.

The software supplied (for example Rhino 3D, VisualARQ and LandsDesign) is developed and owned by its manufacturer (the "OEM"). Your right to install and use the software is governed by the OEM's End User Licence Agreement (EULA) that accompanies it. Cadwax supplies the licence key and, where offered, advice and training; the OEM's EULA sets the terms of use of the software itself.

2. Licence activation and use

Rhino 3D licences are activated either through McNeel's Cloud Zoo (including Cloud Zoo Teams, which allow a licence to float between team members) or locked to a single computer. Plugin licences follow the activation method described on the relevant product page. We deliver licence keys and activation instructions by email; you are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for keeping your licence details secure.

3. Orders and delivery

An order is an offer to purchase. Orders are accepted when payment is processed and we send confirmation. Because all products are digital, delivery is by email, typically the same working day for orders placed during UK business hours. If an email does not arrive, contact us at sales@cadwax.co.uk and we will reissue it.

4. Academic and educational licences

Academic licences are sold to qualifying students, teachers and institutions. Proof of status (for example a current student or staff ID card, tuition bill, transcript or class schedule) may be requested before your licence is issued. Academic licences are for the named holder or institution and are subject to the OEM's educational EULA.

5. Upgrades

Upgrade products require you to hold a qualifying previous licence. It is your responsibility to confirm you hold the required previous licence before ordering an upgrade; we supply the upgrade key on the basis of your order.

6. Prices, VAT and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Product pages show the ex-VAT price with the VAT-inclusive total displayed alongside. VAT at the prevailing UK rate is applied at checkout where applicable. The price charged is the one displayed at the time of purchase. Payment is processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your card details.

7. Refunds

Refunds for digital licences are governed by our Refund Policy. In brief: unactivated licences may be refunded within 30 days of purchase, less the administrative fee set out in that policy; once a licence has been activated with the manufacturer it cannot be refunded. We recommend trying any available evaluation version before purchasing.

8. Training and support services

Where you book training or support services, session scheduling, fees and any rescheduling terms are confirmed by email at the time of booking.

9. Website content and intellectual property

The content, design and text of this website are owned by Cadwax Software (UK). Product names and trademarks — including Rhino, McNeel, VisualARQ, LandsDesign and their logos — are the property of their respective owners and are used here to identify the products we supply.

10. Fair use of the website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to interfere with its operation, misrepresent your identity when purchasing, or use licence keys obtained through this website in breach of the relevant OEM EULA.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cadwax Software (UK) is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website, the software or the Services. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, and continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the current version.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
