The Rhino 3D V8 Lab Licence is a single licence covering an entire classroom or lab, built for institutions that need Rhino running across a room of shared workstations rather than issuing individual licences to named students.
Unlike single-user licences, this one licence covers up to 30 concurrent users in that space, managed through McNeel's Cloud Zoo rather than being tied to specific machines. It's the simplest way to equip a teaching lab without the administrative overhead of tracking dozens of separate student accounts.

Frequently asked questions
Can this be installed on individual student laptops?
The Lab Licence covers the shared workstations in one room. For student-owned laptops, our 30-Licence Student Pack is the better fit — each student gets their own licence to install on their own device and keep forever.
Do we need a network?
No — not necessarily. The licence floats either via McNeel's Cloud Zoo (internet-based, no server required) or on an on-premises Zoo server on one machine on your network. Most labs use Cloud Zoo; IT teams that prefer on-premises hosting can run the Zoo instead.
Do you offer training?
Yes — Rhino Level 1 and Level 2 training is available with any Rhino product or plugin purchase, consisting of a guide manual and email support you can work through in your own time. Contact our team for details.
